Steps in designing kitchen cabinets and furnishings

1. Meeting for the first time to discuss your project

Regardless of whether you have an appointment or simply decided to visit our showroom out of curiosity, you’ll be welcomed by a kitchen designer, who will be more than happy to discuss your kitchen cabinet project with you. Are you still not completely sure what it is that you’re looking for? Don’t hesitate to take a walk around our showroom, where you’ll discover all the latest trends in kitchen cabinets and furnishings.

Our designer can guide you toward the products that will best suit your budget, your style and your needs. This initial meeting is also an ideal time to ask all your questions regarding colors, dimensions, warranties, prices and anything else you may need to know.

2. Designing your plans for a kitchen that will respond to your needs

Have you already chosen the style you’d like for your kitchen? Then, it’s time to start drawing up the plans, so you can visualize the precise layout of your kitchen cabinets and the final results.

First of all, we’ll submit various proposed layouts, according to the dimensions of your kitchen. Since we manufacture everything at our plant, the only limits to your cabinet design are your budget and the amount of available space in the room.

To make sure that everything is correct before we begin producing the cabinets, a specialist will come to your residence and take precise measurements. Once all the measurements and other details are finalized, it’s time to choose the materials.

3. Choosing your materials for textures and colors that will enhance the beauty of your kitchen

We offer a wide range of materials for your kitchen cabinets, as well as a number of accessories, including door dampers, slide-out shelves, handles, knobs, molding and more. Here are just some of your options in materials:

Melamine: Melamine is a decorative veneer, available in a variety of colors, which is affixed to a particle-board panel using a high-pressure laminating process. Easy to clean, this material will add style to your kitchen, at a very affordable price.

Polyester: Presenting a finish that closely resembles that of wood, polyester is highly valued by our clients. Polyester not only makes it possible to create a decor that’s elegant and distinctive, but also offers you the possibility of customizing your kitchen cabinets, thanks to numerous choices in molding, glass inserts and other features.

Polymer: Very similar to polyester, polymer is unique in that it can be molded in a single piece. The drawback is that it’s less resistant to heat. With the exception of five-piece doors, it’s best not to use it near the stove, dishwasher or other sources of heat. Polymer is often used to highlight a certain element, such as a kitchen island or a pantry, in order to create a focal point.

Solid wood: With its rich nuances, wood is the material of choice for kitchen cabinets that are refined, durable and sumptuous. With our selection of local and exotic varieties of wood, we can design cabinets that will suit your needs and fit your style.

4. Manufacturing your cabinets at our plant

Once the plans have been approved and the materials have been chosen, we will take the final measurements. Then we’ll begin manufacturing the various kitchen modules at our plant in order to deliver everything to your residence as quickly as possible. In general, it will take between five and six weeks. Since the kitchen cabinets and other kitchen furnishings are manufactured directly by our team in our workshop, we have complete control over every phase of the process, enabling us to complete the work on schedule.

5. Installing your kitchen cabinets

Once the manufacturing process is finished, our professionals will come to your home to install your cabinets and cupboards. Would you prefer to do the installation yourself? You certainly have that option. However, you should bear in mind that, in order to benefit from our warranty and full post-sales service, you need to use our installation services.
